As of 01 June 2016 Marstal Maritime Academy introduces a new set of rules for payment, enrollment and cancellation of courses.
There is no registration deadline, but we always advise you to register in good time for the sake of the best possible planning.
Four weeks or less prior to the commencement of the course, the registration is binding.
Course participants not supported by companies:
An invoice will be sent immediately after course enrolment. The invoice must be paid prior to the course date, referring to the terms of payment.
If the course is not paid, it is not possible to attend.
When we have received the payment, you are enrolled at the course.
Customer’s Cancellation of Participation
• In case of cancellation by the customer less than four and more than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course, a cancellation fee of DKK 500 shall apply.
• In case of cancellation by the customer less than two weeks and more than one week prior to the commencement of the course, 50 % of the course fee shall apply.
In case of cancellation later than seven days prior to the commencement of the course, 100 % of the course fee shall apply.
Without any additional charge, the person ordering the course has the opportunity to send another participant. The course department must be notified the day before commencement of the course at the latest.
Cancellation and Changes in Course Dates
In the event of too few enrollments for a course, Marstal Maritime Academy reserves the right to cancel the course. In case of cancellation, the customer will be notified two weeks before commencement of the course at the latest. Equivalent terms apply in case of changes in course dates.
Lost Course Certificate
We shall be happy to reissue a lost certificate. The fee is DKK 350 per certificate paid in advance.
