SIMAC: Dangerous Goods + The Baltic MoU (Farligt Gods og Østersøaftalen)

Duration: 3 modules (1½ days)

 

The Dangerous Goods course imparts knowledge to the participant in the transport of dangerous goods at sea.

Objectives:

  • Module 1: After completing module 1, the participant will have achieved a thorough understanding of transporting dangerous goods at sea in a safe and secure manner according to the IMDG code and of handling incidents involving dangerous goods.
  • Module 2: After completing module 2, the participant will have achieved the skills and competences in transporting dangerous goods at sea in a safe and secure manner according to the IMDG code and be capable of handling incidents involving dangerous goods.
  • Module 3: After completing module 3, the participant will have achieved the knowledge, skills and competences in transporting dangerous goods at sea in a safe and secure manner according to the Memorandum of Understanding for the Transport of Packed Dangerous Goods on Ro-Ro Ships in the Baltic Sea (MoU Baltic). The participant is certified according the section 9.4 of the MoU Baltic.

The participant must master English at the user level as the course material is in English. The course is conducted in Danish, but can be in English if requested.
